Mauritius: Plaisance Airport under sanitary surveillance for meningitis
Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport of Plaisance in Mauritius is since several days the attention of an increased sanitary surveillance for passengers from African countries in the wake of meningitis cases identified on the black continent.

"There is no explosion but occasional cases. However, we need to be vigilant at the airport," as locally said.

The pilgrims who will perform the hajj to Mecca in September are also explicitly invited to be vaccinated before their departure for Saudi Arabia.
