Mauritius Island still maintains its position in the latest UNDP human development report

Mauritius still occupies the 63rd largest in the world the latest report on human development established by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for the year 2014.
 
With an index of development valued at 0.771, Mauritius maintains the same level a year earlier.
 
As a reminder, the development index is calculated according to life expectancy, education and income per capita.
 
Between 0 and 1, the higher the index is close to 1, the higher the standard of living in countries affected by the rating is considered high.
