Mauritius: Increase of German tourists arrived in the island in the first eight months of the year 2014




German travellers have recorded an increase of attendance of 3.9% on Mauritius destination between January and August 2014, either 36.891 arrived tourist against 35.511 arrivals from Germany during the same period calendar in 2013, as reported by Business Magazine.
 
The German tourists were including 4.270 to visit Mauritius in August 2014, an increase of 17.7% over the month of August of last year.
 
The tourism authorities of Mauritius are counting on an increase of approximately 7% of German travellers for the year 2014.
 
In 2013, 60.530 German visitors had visited Mauritius against 55.186 travelers recorded in 2012.
 
 
As a reminder, tourist arrivals in Mauritius have registered a growth of 2.9% last year with 993.106 visitors identified.
 
The official body Statistics Mauritius provides for several weeks an increase of tourist arrivals in 2014, with an increase of 3.7% and approximately 1.030.000 travelers who should visit Mauritius this year.
