Mauritius: Heated swimming pool with salted water very soon operational in Jeetoo Hospital of Port-Louis




The Jeetoo hospital of Port Louis in Mauritius has just acquired, about ten days ago, a hydropool of six by three meters and capable of treating muscle problems in patients during balneotherapy sessions. Rehabilitation sessions for people with disabilities will also be programmed using technology that produces the same effects felt as if patients were at sea.
 
This heated pool and with salt water implanted on the ground floor of the establishment cost approximately 3.5 million rupees * and will be officially inaugurated soon.
 
"The salt water was chosen because it allows patients to float and makes them less binding exercises. This kind of pool is equipped with a machine that will produce waves which will enable patients to perform the same exercises that they would have practiced at sea, "highlight the officials of Jeetoo hospital in Port-Louis.
