Mauritius: Groundwater filled at their maximum except in the north of the island




The recent rainfall events that have sprayed Mauritius helped to fill in groundwater at 100% capacity. Only the groundwater of the North Island experience an occupancy rate of 90% for these groundwater.
 
The leaders of the Central Water Authority (CWA), the public body responsible for distribution of water in Mauritius, however, does not consider cuts in the north of the island with a supply of subscribers qualified as "normal".
 
Only black spot, the city of Port-Louis might be affected by water distribution problems at the tap due to anomalies found on the filters of the water treatment of Pailles station.
