Since this weekend, fins are available in Mauritius while the Christmas festivities are fast approaching the tropics.
Thus, to avoid slaughtering wild coveted firs, the Ministry of Agro Industry decided to supply itself in the local market in sufficient quantities.

Mauritians will particularly go and buy their Christmas tree to decorate their house by going directly to the Department of Wood and Forestry Curepipe, Quartier Militaire, Abercrombie and Souillac.

The Christmas trees  of not more than a height of 2.50 m will be sold from Rs 200 * each and firs can be delivered at home.

One euro roughly equivalent to 40 rupees
