Mauritius: Between 200 million and 500 million rupees estimated in the safes and cases seized at the home of former Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam

The account of the sums in the two safes and cases seized at the home of former Prime Minister of Mauritius, Navin Ramgoolam, could amount between 200 million and 500 million rupees * as reported by the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
 
"There are still many to count, and it seems that there are more than 200 million rupees. It will be confirmed later during the physical count," says a police officer. Counting notes could last "two days," the headquarters of the Mauritius Police (Central Barracks).
 
As a reminder, Navin Ramgoolam is being prosecuted for conspiracy for obstructing justice in the case of Roches Noires and also for money laundering.
