Mauritius: Banking establishments and the Mauritius Stock Exchange will run at idle for the counting of legislative elections tomorrow, Thursday




The vast majority of commercial banks in Mauritius decided to change tomorrow Thursday, 11 December 2014 their closing hours.
 
Many banks will close their doors to the public at 1 p.m. and others will make available to their customers limited services after 1 p.m.
 
For its part, the Stock Exchange of Mauritius has indicated that market transactions will also be closed on Thursday at noon.
 
The counting of the general election and the official proclamation of the results of early parliamentary elections in Mauritius are the cause of the announced changes.
