Mauritius: Acts of vandalism are multiplying on the beaches of the island

The Beach Authority, the organization managing the field of Mauritian coastline, spends 60% of its budget allocated by the State of Mauritius for beach nourishment in restoring any equipment that has been subject to degradation.
 
It is thus 700,000 rupees (18,421 euros) that are used for this purpose. Broken benches, smashed fences, stolen taps, panels of indications damaged...
 
Acts of vandalism are multiplying to the dismay of the authorities.
