Mauritius: 37 rupees for one dollar and euro at the end of the third quarter 2015?




While today the dollar is currently worth around 36.25 rupees and the euro went back to about 38.22 rupees, some financial analysts expect a parity between the dollar and the euro at the end of third quarter 2015.
 
A monetary situation which if realized would cause the Mauritian rupee to trade at 37 rupees for one dollar and euro.
 
The operators of financial services whose incomes are in dollars are rubbing their hands if the exchange rate were to be confirmed, while in on the other hand the textile exporters that operate towards the euro zone and the local tourism industry already fear this perspective that pummel the financial performance of their activities ...
