Madagascar a welcoming land for chameleons

About half of the 150 chameleon species counted all over the planet are listed in Madagascar. 59 of the species are endemic in the Island.

Malagasy chameleons can change color and feature at will a white, yellow, red, blue, green or brown color. The smallest chameleon in the world has also been discovered in 2012 in Nosy Hara, an islet off the northern coast of Madagascar.
