Madagascar: Ultimatum against Andry Rajoelina, Didier Ratsiraka and Ravalomanana Lalao of the International Contact Group for Madagascar
The International Contact Group for Madagascar (ICG-M), after several consultations on the Big Island, has issued an ultimatum to three controversial candidates to withdraw before the end of the month from the presidential race of Madagascar, under price of the immediate application of targeted sanctions (travel ban and assets freeze on the outside) decided on June 26 in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia and specifically to Andry Rajoelina, Didier Ratsiraka and Ravalomanana Lalao and their relatives, as related lexpressmada.com.

"We have a deadline, but obviously we will adapt to the dynamics of things. If we could have the answer until the end of this month, it would be very good. There will be a time when our respective organs of the of the South African Development Community (SADC) and the United Nations (UN) will take the decision to apply sanctions ... the sanctions will be imposed if they do not change their position ... These will fall on those who block the process", said the former Mozambican President Joaquim Chissano and the head of the delegation of the International Contact Group for Madagascar.

The three candidates listed do not count, for now reverse their position on the requirements of the (SADC), the African Union (AU) as well as other institutions and countries of the international Commonwealth involved in mediating the heart of the Malagasy crisis.

However, the environment of the current President of the Transition, recognizes hint that if the other two candidates renounced their side for the presidency, Andry Rajoelina would align the retracted position.

To recap, the international community has refused to recognize the ballot box results if the three candidates maintained their nominations for the upcoming presidential election.
