Madagascar: USAID unlocks 49 million dollars in 2014 for the health sector in the island

The agency of United States international development (United States Agency for International Development or USAID), independent U.S. Government agency responsible for economic development and humanitarian assistance to the four corners of the planet, provided 49 million dollars this year to support public health in Madagascar.
 
9 million dollars are thus granted in 2014 to improve maternal and child health in Madagascar.
 
26 million dollars are also devoted to the fight against malaria and 14 million dollars are intended to develop the policy of parenthood in the island, as reported by the Midi Madagasikara newspaper.
