Madagascar: Two thieves of zebus burned by angry villagers in the south of the Big Island
After that a dozen thieves of zebus (dahalo) has committed a series of robberies murderers (3 deaths) and caused a fire, during the last weekend in Fort Dauphin in the south of Madagascar, two dahalo forming part of the robbers were pursued by a hundred angry residents.
 
Feeling threatened and also surrounded by gendarmes, zebus thieves took a woman as hostages in a house.
 
Making use of their weapons against the military, one of dahalo was shot by the police. In the confusion, people have lynched to death his accomplice.
