Madagascar: Two robbers killed by gendarmes in a violent shootout in the center of the island
A violent shooting broke out last Saturday night, at around 21: 00, Mangarivotra Tsiroanomandidy in the Bongolava region, in Central Western Madagascar between police and six gunmen who committed a robbery in a trade.

The robbers did not hesitate to make use of their weapons on the arrival of the police. Two of them were shot by the security forces and three others were arrested.

A last accomplice wounded by a shot was able to flee and is actively sought by all the brigades of gendarmerie of the Bongolava region.

The six robbers are believed to be involved in the first robbery, the loot is estimated at several million ariarys, which took place earlier in the evening and the owner of another business was beaten, as indicated by the newspaper L'Express of Madagascar.
