Madagascar: Two girls die carbonized in the fire of their thatched-roof house in the region of Tananarive
Two girls aged between three and five years have perished in flames when the raging fire that ravaged on Saturday night their thatched house at Ankadikely Ilafy, in the region of Tananarive.

A candle badly damage is the cause of the terrible family tragedy.

The elder sister of 20 years who was also in the house shortly before had left, to fetch water from a nearby pond.

But on her return a few minutes later, the fire had already spread to the whole house.

Despite her vain attempts to save her sisters, the young woman and the neighbours in haste on the scene of the accident could do nothing to extricate from the flames the two small victims trapped.

After this fire, the young woman attempted twice to end her days during the weekend, according to the newspaper the Express of Madagascar.
