Madagascar: Three persons suspected of having drugged and killed motorists imprisoned
Since late May and until mid-July, two motorists were killed on national highway 2 in Madagascar and their vehicle stolen.
 
The victims were drugged with sleeping pills and a third motorist narrowly escaped death, saved in extremis by inhabitants.
Since then the police were on the alert to reassemble the trace of this murderous gang which raged on the main axis of movement between the capital Tananarive and the East of the big island. 
 
A first suspect living in Tamatave is arrested on 20 July last for theft by concealment of stolen cars and his younger brother was also arrested for obstruction of justice.

And a few days ago, the Malagasy police make the connection between the disappearance of a businessman and the fencing of stolen cars. 
 
The main protagonist in this case is taken from his cell to be subjected to interrogation, during which the individual denounces his brother and another accomplice and explained to investigators the spot where the bodies of the drivers killed were thrown.

The third accomplice of the murderous gang was arrested at his home in Ambohi­manarina in the outskirts of Tananarive. 

The three suspects were then referred the Tribunal to Anosy on Saturday, and placed in detention at Tsiafahy remand for flights and murder committed in group according to the newspaper the Express of Madagascar.
