Madagascar: The world leader in aromas and fragrances, Givaudan, plans to set up a factory in the East of the island

The Swiss world leader in the sector of aromas and fragrances, Givaudan plans to set up its third African factory on the side of the East of Madagascar after Egypt and South Africa.
The pool of jobs and the cloves sector in the Atsinanana region should thus be boosted in the wake of an export of eugenol production amounting some 100 million dollars each year, as reported by the Midi Madagasikara newspaper.
As a reminder, the Swiss group Givaudan has a turnover of approximately 4 billion dollars annually and currently holds 25% of the market share of the sector.
