Madagascar: The world food programme suspends its assistance to tuberculosis patients
The world food program (WFP) suspended its food aid to tuberculosis patients in the regions of the South and Southeast of Madagascar, while 23,000 patients depend for food on a daily basis.

The cause of this suspension is the lack of financial resources allocated to the program. In October, only 29% of patients have benefited from this assistance.

School canteens are also threatened from January 2013. 245,000 children could be affected by this possible shut down.
