Madagascar: The special electoral court formalizes the results of the first round of the presidential election




The Special Electoral Court (CES) formalized the results of the first round of Madagascar presidential election which was held on October 25 and after the publication November 8 scores to the candidates by the National Electoral Commission of the Transition (INEC-T), as indicated by the tananews.com site.

Jean-Louis Robinson collects according to the count of the CES 21.16% of the vote (941.987 votes), 15.85 percent Hery Rajaonarimampianina (715.432 votes).
 
The special electoral court, after the verbal process confrontation, says of having observed deficiencies, related especially among voters, registered or number of votes obtained by the candidates in 17 polling stations.

As a reminder, both qualified candidates for the second round of the presidential election were supported for the first, by former President Marc Ravalomanana, and the second by the current president of the Transition, Andry Rajoelina.
