Madagascar: The return of Marc Ravalomanana at the consideration of a SADEC meeting
The comeback of the former president of Madagascar Marc Ravalomanana, before the holding of the presidential elections of May 2013, will be discussed at a special meeting of the South African Development Community (SADC) this week in Addis Ababa, in Ethiopia.

While the two former presidents of Madagascar, Marc Ravalomanana and Andry Rajoelina decided to officially throwing in the towel in the race for the presidential elections, the return of Marc Ravalomanana to Madagascar has repeatedly been postponed by transitional president Andry Rajoelina.

During his official announcement of withdrawal of his candidacy in the presidential elections of the Big Island, the latter did not mince words on the assumption of a return that was ousted in 2009.

"All measures taken in order to avoid instability in the country before the election of the new President of the Republic must be maintained", said Andry Rajoelina. A position that Andry Rajoelina defend tooth and nail to against the SADC, although in December the President of the Transition confessed on Radio France International that he defers  to the decisions of the SADC on the subject

"The policy is not static, but always in movement",
said Andry Rajoelina in an interview.
