Madagascar: The remains of the French tourist missing since mid-August, found at sea in Diego Suarez
The remains of the French of 55 years missing since mid-August in the North of Madagascar at Diego-Suarez was found floating about 15 meters from the shore on the beach of Ramena.

Wounds were observed on the lower part of the body, as relates the Midi Madagasiraka newspaper.

A police investigation has also been opened to determine the exact cause of his death and the French consular authorities of Diego-Suarez were informed of the gruesome discovery of their citizen.

To recap, the quinquagenarian of Martinique was originally reported missing, when he went swimming on the beach Ramena very early in the morning of August 16 after leaving his hotel room.

His Malagasy girlfriend concerned not to see him return for breakfast had quickly alerted rescue.

An important set of research had been deployed on land and at sea, but searches remained fruitless. Only his pants and his purse had been recovered.
