Madagascar: The non-governmental organisation MOI in the heart of the Island to treat 2,000 patients




About twenty doctors of the nongovernmental organisation (MOI), formerly known as association sanitaire de la Réunion (ASR), which was created in 1987, are currently in Madagascar for their 54th field mission from 14 November to 19 November 2014.
 
Some 2,000 patients will thus be treated free of charge in the Island on the side of the Manjakandriana city situated in the province of Tananarive.
 
Medical Act in dental surgery, pediatrics, cardiology, ophthalmology, ophthalmology and gastroenterology will be offered on site.
 
As a reminder, eye problems are placed at the top of the list of the most common diseases of Madagascar.
 
The MOI also proceed in the framework of its mission the distribution of corrective lenses, as reported by the Midi Madagasikara newspaper.
