Madagascar: The new American ambassador presented his credentials to President Hery Rajaonarimampianina




The new American ambassador in Madagascar, Robert Yamate, presented on Wednesday morning his credentials to the President of Madagascar Hery Rajaonarimampianina the palace Iavoloha.
 
Robert Yamate replaces Niels Marquardt, who had left the Big Island in June 2010.
 
The diplomat nominated by Barack Obama in August 2014 was previously based in Dakar, Senegal as Deputy responsible business and has already practiced in Sapia in Samoa as charge d'affaires and consular agent in Tokyo, Japan. The diplomat also had numerous positions in every corner of the planet as in Budapest (Hungary), Montreal (Canada), Taipei (Taiwan), Harare (Zimbabwe) and Geneva (Switzerland).
 
Robert Yamate expresses himself easily in three languages Japanese, Hungarian and French.
