The candidate of the Avana party, Jean-Louis Robinson, beaten in the second round of the Malagasy presidential while he had the support of the Ravalomanana movement, and which had publicly recognised at the beginning of his defeat on the eve of the investiture of the President Hery Rajaonarimampianina, has recently commented on Malagasy political news, inviting expressly the power of good governance and to fight against poverty.

"We will not tire of repeating: it is necessary to give priority to good governance. It should not be a well vain Word. Good governance and the fight against poverty, as the fight against corruption: these are the priorities of priorities among all the actions to take if you really want the real development of the country. If this is the objective of the current regime, it must not lose any minute to tackle the work in this direction. Without good governance, there may be real effective fight against poverty and corruption. Hence no hope for real change let alone real development", said the former presidential candidate.

Jean-Louis Robinson also argued for a rapid return of the former president Marc Ravalomanana exiled in South Africa since 2009, and this, to begin "a genuine national reconciliation" in the island, as reported by the newspaper Courrier of Madagascar.
