An entrepreneur and his wife nearly died Saturday in the morning at Faralaza Talatamaty in Central Madagascar, after their car, a Peugeot 504, was riddled with bullets fired by three heavily armed men during an ambush on a secondary paved road in the region.

The vehicle has been stopped by the fire and ended his race against a utility pole. The three robbers who were travelling on two wheels fled with an estimated booty of nearly ten million ariary (3,341 euros).

The contractor was wounded in the knee, pursued by the robbers and who did not hesitate to open fire on the latter to seize the money bag liquid while trying to flee, as relates the newspaper L'Express of Madagascar.
