Madagascar: The bookmobile of knowledge of Rotary furrows the neighborhoods of Tananarive and the surrounding area
The bookmobile of the Rotary Club of Tsimbaroa in Tananarive winds through the neighborhoods of the capital and its region, so that disadvantaged children can taste the joys of reading freely through the 3,500 books available in multiple languages and knowledge through two Internet computers in its interior landscaped.

Educational games and drawing materials are also made available to young people.

Since its introduction in 2004, nearly 270,000 children are boarded to dive into the heart of knowledge until then inaccessible to most through such intellectual diversity.

Two volunteer librarians are working to help children from Monday to Friday.

At each trip the bookmobile stops between 40 and 60 days in a particular place. Librarians then lead on campaigns of awareness about the importance of reading for the development of the child, with an incentive to local teachers to build small libraries in their establishment, as relates the site midi - madagasikara.mg.
