Madagascar: The World Bank puts on table 80 million of dollars to support the electric sector of the island

The World Bank is going to put at the disposal of Madagascar 80 million dollars to support the public sector of electricity in the island, managed by the Jirama and avoid blackout.
A first release of funds should be involved as early as the late August 2014 after the World Bank is declared satisfied by the willingness shown by the Department of energy to redress the situation of the Jirama.
As a reminder, the Jirama blamed a loss of some 400 megawatt each months, as reported by the L'Express of Madagascar newspaper.
