Madagascar: The Ravalomanana couple fully behind Jean-Louis Robinson for the pre-campaign presidential
After the disqualification of Lalao Ravalomanana by the Special Electoral Court (CES) as a political elimination by the former president, Marc Ravalomanana, in exile on the side of South Africa, Ravalomanana couple invests for the presidential ballot of 25 October, alongside Jean-Louis Robinson, a former Minister of Sports and Health in Madagascar.

"We will take part in all elections and are not afraid to face the votes. Jean Louis Robinson is the candidate we support. He will take and finish the projects that I have not been able to achieve", said on Saturday Marc Ravalomanana by phone for a meeting of pre-campaign presidential of Jean-Louis Robinson.

The former first lady, Lalao Ravalomanana, was also present to support the candidate of the Avana party chosen in the absence on the ground by the movement of the former Malagasy president ousted in 2009.

For his part, Jean-Louis Robinson said that his electoral platform for the Malagasy people will strongly inspire policy initiated by Marc Ravalomanana with a revamped former Madagascar Action Plan (MAP).

As a reminder, having no official candidate to represent its movement, Marc Ravalomanana had given its support to Jean-Louis Robinson, and, despite pressure from some supporters in the island who initially wanted to support any candidate in the Malagasy presidential election.

Marc Ravalomanana, however, conditioned its support for candidate Jean-Louis Robinson on his return to Madagascar, as related by the newspaper L'Express of Madagascar.
