Madagascar: The Ministry of Education wants to fight against illiteracy and dropping out of school
The Atsimo-Atsinanana region in southeastern Madagascar was struck head-on by the illiteracy of the population with a rate higher than 56%.

In order to help the public who can neither read nor write, the Ministry of Education has decided to set up in a public university dedicated to learning basic reading and writing section to fight against the adult illiteracy in Madagascar.
 
In the wake of this opening, educational authorities also want to conduct a campaign of education among children and young adolescents who have left beforehand the way school benches or college.

According to the Minister of Education in Madagascar, more than a million and a half of school age children no longer attend the schools of the island, as shown in the newspaper the Express of Madagascar.
