Madagascar: The Japan finance two social projects for more than 165,000 euros in the island




In the wake of the accession to the supreme office of the new president of Madagascar, Hery Rajaonarimampianina, democratically elected, the embassy of Japan in the island has granted a donation of more 165,000 euros in respect of its financial contribution to assist the Malagasy population.
 
This donation comes as part of a program of financial cooperation with Madagascar called "Grant aid to local micro-projects contributing to human security" with two key projects, as reported by the Midi Madagasikara newspaper.
 
Thus, the first project to provide medical equipment the hospital Saint-François of Assizes of Ankadifotsy (province of Antananarivo) is funded to the tune of 82.698 euros by the Japanese Government.
 
Japan has also provided funding for 82,404 euros to a second expansion project classrooms of Nanisana High School in the Malagasy capital.
