Madagascar: The Avenue of the baobabs of Morondava in the Top 10 of the world's most surprising forests




The very touristic alley of the baobabs of Morondava in the Menabe region (southwest of Madagascar) occupies the 8th place in the ranking of the specialised magazine Maxisciences, which has compiled the top 10 of the world's most surprising forests in the heart of landscapes of exception.
 
Area protected since 2007, the natural site, shelter for ancient baobabs aged of more than 800 years and 30 meters high and reflects "the ancient tropical forests that once thrived in Madagascar", as reported by the Maxisciences magazine.
