Madagascar: The American oil group Exxon reactivates its networks in the island




After having stopped his prospecting activities in Madagascar during the period of Transition (2009-2013), the US group Exxon eyeing again on the offshore potential oil of the big island and active again its networks by making communication all-out on the ground.
 
Two executives of the group and the Malagasy consultant Lalanirina Rasoanandrianina, moved last month in northern Madagascar and held several workshops on the side of ambilobe nearby blocks offshore drilling Ampasindava and Mahajanga belonging to Exxon.
 
American officials the Group participated in several working sessions on the oil economy and support the presence of a senior official of the Office of national mines and strategic Madagascar industries were identified, as reported in the letter of Information Africa Energy Intelligence.
