Madagascar: Significant cannabis seizure in a bush taxi in the center of the Big Island
During a sudden traffic control, of the Vinaninkarena police in Antsirabe region in central Madagascar the police seized on Tuesday 25 kilos of cannabis inside a bush taxi traveling towards the Tananarive on National Highway 7.

One passenger was arrested after a search of luggage of the taxi that contained drugs hidden in two bags.

At the stage of investigation that starts, the taxi driver bush has denied any involvement in the presence of these two bags of marijuana in his vehicle transport.

As a reminder in recent weeks, the search of bush taxis from the officers police were been temporarily suspended following numerous complaints from passengers who complained about the delay caused by these controls on the travel time.

After this significant seizure of cannabis, the police have decided to resume their excavations day and night on the bush taxis on National Highway 7, heading towards the capital Tananarive from southern Madagascar.
