Madagascar: Round Table of departmental officials on the security of tourists scheduled next week on the island of Nosy Be
The Malagasy authorities are mobilizing against the rising insecurity suffered tourists in Madagascar.

A round table of departmental officials is thus programmed for next week on the coastal island of Nosy Be, in the North West of the island, to study the issue.

Different managers, among others from the ministries of the internal security, of tourism, of Justice, of the Interior, of the Budget, the Armed Forces, Transport and the secretariat in charge of the Gendarmerie, will come to find pragmatic solutions to the problems of tourism insecurity in recent months, as relates the newspaper the Express of Madagascar.

As a reminder, on August 1, a French tourist was seriously injured in hand with the tendons and nerves of the hand amputated during a violent attack with a machete on the island of Nosy Be.

Other two of her friends were more lightly injured during the fierce assault.
