Madagascar: Rajoelina in private visit to Mauritius with his family, after officially accepted the decision of his eviction from presidential election
The President of the Transition, Andry Rajoelina, made at the end of last week an official statement broadcast on public channels of Madagacar where he said that he "respect the decision of the Special Electoral Court (CES)", which ousted him just like Lalao Ravalomanana, Didier Ratsairaka as well as 5 other candidates, the next presidential election will be held in the island on October 25, 2013.
The former candidate aged 37 years, also stressed that the democratic transition of power in Madagascar will happen "in the calm".
 
Andry Rajoelina then headed to Mauritius and landed with his family on Friday, August 23 at a hotel in Trou aux Biches in the north of the island for a private trip with his family for five days.

The Mauritian authorities have at his disposal bodyguards as well as a car.
 
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mauritius, Arvin Boolell, has also welcomed the happy outcome of the Malagasy political crisis and said that "now that the situation has settled in Madagascar, we can host him".

Arvin Boolell, who spoke on telephone on Saturday with Andry Rajoelina congratulated him for his past statements of appeasement.
 
The President Transition Andry Rajoelina, should also meet the Prime Minister, Navin Ramgoolam, before leaving the island of Mauritius, as the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius relates.
