Madagascar: Police station of Mananjary attacked after the death of a young man
Last weekend, a dispute between a technical adviser of a member of the Superior Council of Transition (CST) and a resident of the town of Mananjary in the East of Madagascar, has degenerated into a fight.

 
Seriously injured, the young resident was transported to the Hospital where he died a few hours later as reason of beatings. The technical adviser was arrested and placed in custody at the police station of the town.

Many residents of Mananjary gathered on Monday outside the station to avenge the death of the young man and claimed for a rapid popular justice. Tired of waiting, stones were suddenly thrown on Windows of the police station which shattered. The car of the suspect was also burned by the angry crowd.

 Police reinforcements were dispatched on-site to restore public order in Mananjary. Fire warning shots of live bullets were summons to disperse the rioters.
