Madagascar: Police and Military Security in Antananarivo to curb the growing insecurity in the capital
Gendarmes and soldiers are deployed in the heart of Tananarive, since the beginning of the week, for securing the city to curb on the field the outbreak violence and robberies often bloody, shaking the Malagasy capital.

Between Monday and Wednesday, more than 400 people have been subjected to police checks and several people were arrested.
 
647 vehicles and 163 motorcycles were also monitored in the context of this security operation on a large scale throughout the city of Tananarive, as related by the newspaper L'Express of Madagascar.

"This vast operation has significantly reduced insecurity in the capital. It is not about to stop", said the police colonel Florens Rakotomahanina, head of security operations in the Malagasy capital Tananarive.
 
"The means are never enough, but we do our best with what we have to our credit. With tactics, a little determination and professionalism, it is possible to obtain results more or less satisfactory", also highlights the colonel Florens Rakotomahanina.
