Madagascar: Minister of Finance elected second vice-president of the African Development Bank st the Council of the governors

The Malagasy Minister of finance and budget, Jean Razafindravonona, was elected last week second Vice-president of the Board of Governors of the African Bank of development (ADB) at the annual General Assembly which was held on the side of Kigali, Rwanda, as reported by the newspaper Courier of Madagascar.
As a reminder, the Pan-African financial institution gave its approval in 2013 for a total of 317 transactions with a value of about 6.8 billion dollars.
The ADB has recently launched the Fund Africa 50, an innovative tool of infrastructure funding that is harnessed to mobilise private funds to accelerate the pace of infrastructure construction, which is expected to work on setting up a new platform for growth in the African continent.
