Madagascar: Marc Ravalomanana back to the island in full discretion

The former president of Madagascar, disposed and in exile since 2009 in South Africa, Marc Ravalomanana, reached his native land in full discretion during the night of Sunday to Monday.

Marc Ravalomanana has thus rushed to his residence at Faravohitra in Tananarive.

For the Malagasy authorities in power, the national reconciliation is in progress to allow the development of Madagascar, as reported the Tananews site.

Several partisans of the former disposed president are currently hurrying towards Faravohitra, while at the same time the road leading there had been closed.

"I'm back in the country. My current priorities are to work for the benefit of the most disadvantaged ... When I left the country I was in power, now that I'm back, the Malagasy people will know what they must do ... I'm not back to cause trouble, but to bring peace and to work for the development of Madagascar, " said Marc Ravalomanana during a press conference at his residence in the late morning.
