Malagasy public universities are angry after the operating budgets of school which began in March for some of them have not yet been allocated by the authorities, due to the tax inspectors strike movement.

Some Tuléar students who took the course in February did not perceive their scholarship and teachers are also waiting for the payment of their overtime hours for the academic year previous 2011-2012.

Universities Fianarantsoa and Tananarive are experiencing the same problems of non-stocked budget amounts due for the academic year.

A movement of discontent which is also reinforced by the fact that the authorities have paid at the same time 1.4 billion ariarys (475,961 euros) additional line of credit for 272 scholarship students studying in China, as related by the Express of Madagascar.
