Madagascar: Last provisional assessment of the passage of Chedza on the Island, 39 deaths and over 118,000 victims




The latest official assessment still provisional of the passage of the strong tropical storm Chedza on Madagascar reported on Tuesday evening 39 dead and some 118,375 victims in the Island.
 
As a reminder, the storm system hit with full force on Friday Morondava, on the west coast to come out again on Saturday afternoon in the south-east of Madagascar. Gusts of over 130 km / h and torrential rains were recorded.
 
The damage on site are very important. Some 345 classrooms were heavily damaged by the meteor.
