Madagascar: Jean-Louis Robinson displayed his independence from the Ravalomanana clan




The candidate of the Avana party and former Minister of health of Marc Ravalomanana, Jean-Louis Robinson, arrived at the top of the first round of the Malagasy presidential, October 25, 21.16% of the valid votes, with 949.987 votes, has posted this weekend its independence in this presidential campaign, while some politicians accuse him of the influence of the Ravalomanana clan.
 
"If you trust me and elect me as president, I will be the president of all Malagasy, and this will be my policy that will be applied", said Jean-Louis Robinson during a press briefing improvised.

"I thank those who have supported me during this election, but I will be the elected president," said the candidate of the party Avanà, Jean-Louis Robinson, according to the newspaper L'Express of Madagascar.
 
On the side of the clan Ravalomanana time is not the controversy as ensures Mamy Rakotoarivelo, president of the Congress of the Transition.

"We will not argue at all with this declaration. Dr. Jean Louis Robinson will have a term of five years when elected.
There is nothing more to add,"
said Mamy Rakotoarivelo before nevertheless recalled that Jean-Louis Robinson "should not forget that it is the Ravalomanana movement which has made him win the election."
