Madagascar: Japan releases 2.5 million dollars for the Malagasy authorities




The Japanese Ambassador in the Island, Ryuhei Hosoya, and the Malagasy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lala Arisoa Razafitrimo have recently officially acted a funding amounting to approximately 2.5 million dollars to strengthen economic relations of cooperation between the two countries .
 
The Embassy of Japan will thus pay the funds which will be deposited in a special account of the Central Bank of Madagascar and subsequently allow the Malagasy government to supply the local markets of essential foodstuffs for the population.
 
"Socio-economic projects will be realised using the resulting sum from the sale of these products," said Japanese ambassador in Madagascar.
