Madagascar Ivato Airport: A management plan to respond to the increase in air traffic

 The air traffic at Ivato International Airport, located about fifteen kilometers from Tananarive, had a significant increase over the past two decades, according to the latest figures provided by Aéroports de Madagascar (ADEMA)
In 1991, 278,000 passengers were recorded, while in 2012 there are around 889,000 passengers recorded.
The officials in charge of ADEMA the management of Ivato airport decided to plan expansion work of the structure with a new and more important to meet the observed increase in air traffic land development.
New access roads are also being studied to reduce the impact of congestion on the roads leading to Ivato airport.

A master plan will be presented and in about six months the Council of Ministers for final approval, as stated in the Midi Madagasikara newspaper.
