Madagascar: Hery Rajaonarimampianina invited by Australia in November

The Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Julie Bishop, had been received at the end of week last by Prime Minister Roger Kolo and Malagasy President Hery Rajaonarimampianina.
At the Presidential Palace of Iavoloha, Julie Bishop was able to speak with the head of State on issues of cooperation between the Australia and Madagascar in mining, agriculture, tourism and fisheries.
"We are very happy to renew relations with Madagascar after the holding of the elections in December and the formation of the new Government of Madagascar. We are here to strengthen and re deepen bilateral relations between the two neighbouring countries. We have similarities in natural and mineral resources. We are here to see the possibilities for that Australian investors come to Madagascar especially in the mining sector", said Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Julie Bishop.
The latter also announced that Harry Rajaonarimampianina will be the host of Australia in November next in Sydney during the World Congress on the conservation of the environment and biodiversity, as reported by the Midi Madagasikara newspaper.
