Madagascar: Franco-Malagasy military operation of peacekeeping

A joint military operation between between France and the Armed Forces of the South Zone of the Indian Ocean (FAZSOI) and Madagascar will be held from 5 to 22 February 2013, on the Big Island, in the context of cooperation.
 
800 soldiers will participate in a full-scale exercise deployment of troops on the ground on a mission of peace.
 
The operation known as Betsiboka engage the armed forces of the two countries in the region of Boeny Majunga Province, in western Madagascar.
 
Workforce will also be positioned to support Ambaja (North), Antananarivo (center) and Tamatave in Madagascar.
