Madagascar: Four robbers killed by the intervention of the police force after an exchange of gunfire over 3 hours
Tamatave, city in eastern Madagascar, was shaken in the night from Wednesday to Thursday, by violent explosions, almost uninterrupted for more than three hours in various parts of the city.

The intervention of the police forces have led to the heart of the city a major operation, after surrounding, around 10 pm, four armed dangerous individuals about to commit a robbery and wanted for a series of break-ins followed by rape committed in the region.

Trapped, the robbers made use of their automatic weapon against policemen and a fierce struggle alley after alley then entered into entire city of Tamatave.

The four robbers were eventually killed while attempting a final assault against the security forces, as shown in the newspaper L'Express of Madagascar.
