Former Malagasy president deposed and exiled since 2009 in South Africa, Marc Ravalomanana, has recently reiterated his wish for a quick return in Madagascar by virtue inter alia of article 20 of the roadmap which sets up the unconditional return of all considered personalities as political exiles.

"A provision that has not yet been applied so far... I want to return to Madagascar as soon as I can. I have the right to do so by virtue of the fact that I'm a Malagasy citizen", said Marc Ravalomanana.

The former deposed president said of wanting to "return in peace" on his homeland, as a simple ordinary citizen to bring his humble contribution to the reconstruction of the large building which according to him currently lives a difficult, or even "desperate" situation.

Marc Ravalomanana has thus expressly invited the Malagasy Government, the international community as a whole and the development of southern African community (SADC) to act and to make the necessary efforts to promote his return on the Malagasy soil, as reported by the Midi Madagasikara newspaper.

The former president deposed and exiled since 2009 in South Africa, Marc Ravalomanana also rejected any involvement after the hacking of email from the Department of Foreign Affairs at the end of last week and who announced his imminent return.
