Madagascar: First edition of Nosy Be Trail March 9, 2014




The first edition of the Nosy Be Trail will be held on March 9.
 
This sportive mountain hike on a course of 60 km with a difference in altitude cumulative 2,400 meters, allowing participants in the heart of lush vegetation, discover the beauty of the dominated landscapes including the Passot mount which culminates at 315 meters and go on an adventure in the middle of the cane fields, villages and other plantations of ylang ylang.
 
Sport hiking of the Nosy Be Trail is open to any person licensed or not, properly trained and in good physical condition.
 
The Nosy Be Trail "takes place in a single step to the rhythm of each. The maximum time of the event, to be ranked, is set at 20 hours", as stipulated in the regulations of the event.

The start and finish will be located at the hotel Royal Beach to Madirokely.
 
The first edition of the Nosy Be Trail is organised by Indian Ocean RandoRun alongside several partners such as the national agency of tourism of Madagascar (ONTM) and the regional Office of tourism of Nosy Be (ORTNB).
